For everything created by God is good, and nothing is
to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,
for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer. 1 Timothy 4:4,5

Awhile back, someone shared this awesome trick with me and it will knock your socks off. Colleen, if you're reading this, thanks! It's a great way to cook your roasts! Please let me know if you try it:) You will want about 4-5 hours to cook this and it turns out great. I usually make it for supper so I put it on about noon and it's done for supper at 5pm.

Roast Beef in the Crock Pot
Ingredients:can of coke
package of onion soup mix
beef roast--it works great with bison and wild game too
4-6 large carrots--or more with bigger crock pot
3-4 potatoes--or more with bigger crock pot
1 large onion
Green beans (optional)
McCormick Beef bouillon cube (optional)
~~~~~
1. Chop vegetables to desired size. I like them cut in bigger chunks.
2. Place roast in crock pot and pour soup mix and coke over it, break bouillon cube into pieces and throw in
3. Throw vegetables in on top and place on high.
4. I like to pull the roast up on top and let the vegetable go to the bottom about an hour before it's finished...don't know if it really matters but I do it anyways...lol:)
-sorry I maybe don't have the greatest recipe jargon but I try!
